PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM YANG INTEGRATIF DENGAN NILAI-NILAI MULTIKULTURAL DI SMAN 1 BALAURING KEC. OMESURI KAB. LEMBATA

Abstract

_{This research focuses on the development of an integrative learning model of Islamic Religious Education that incorporates multicultural values, as implemented in the school setting. The objectives of this study are threefold: (1) to describe the form of Islamic Religious Education learning model appiled at the school, (2) to identify the multucultural values that have developed within the school environment, and (3) to develop an integrative learning model of Islamic Religious Education that integrates multicultural values for use at the school. This study employs a qualititative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection was carried out through three main stage: observation, in-depth interviews, and review of relevant documents. The research participants included the school principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and student. Once the data were collected, they were processed through severa;l stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and finally drawing conclusion. The findings reveal that the learning model applied at SMAN Balauring involves methods such as group discussion, question and answer sessions, and case studies. Furthermore, the multicultural values that have taken root and flourished well within the school environment include tolerance, a sense of justice, mutual respect, and a democratic spirit. This confirms that the implementation of the Islamic Religious Education learnign model, which integrates these values, is highly relevant in deepening student’s understanding of the true meaning of diversity. Additionally, this model has proven effective in fostering and maintaning a strong spirit of tolerance throughout the school community.}

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengembangan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang integratif dengan nilai-nilai multikultural, yang diterapkan di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini meliputi tiga pokok bahasan utama, yaitu: (1) Mendeskripsikan bentuk model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah, (2) Mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai multikultural yang berkembang di Sekolah, serta (3) Mengembangkan model pembelajaran integratif Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan nilai-nilai multikultural di Sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta pengkajian terhadap dokumen yang relevan. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih Kepala Sekolah, guru pamong Pendidikan Agama Islam, serta peserta didik. Setelah data di kumpul peneliti kemudian mengolah data tersebut melalui tahapan penyederhanaan data, penyajian informasi, sampai pada penarikan kesimpulan akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa di SMAN 1 Balauring masih menggunakan model pembelajaran seperti diskusi, tanya jawab, dan studi kasus, adapun nilai-nilai multikultural yang telah tertanam dan berkembang dengan baik di lingkungan Sekolah seperti, nilai toleransi, nilai keadilan, nilai demokrasi, serta semangat demokrasi. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang memadukan nilai-nilai tersebut terbukti relevan dalam memperdalam pemahaman siswa mengenai makna keberagaman, sekaligus berhasil menumbuhkan sikap toleransi yang kuat dan terpelihara di seluruh lingkungan sekolah.
