Abstract

Abstract is a brief description of the problem (background), research
This study aims to test the truth about the rights and obligations of
the family as stated in the Qur'an. How does the Qur'an regulate and
explain the rights and obligations of the family so that it can be a
solution in carrying out harmonious relationships. This thesis
research is a literature study, a review of research materials such as
books, articles, previous research results, notes, and various existing
journals. related to the topic. The results of this study are that people
who are able to provide a living according to their abilities. And
people whose sustenance is limited should provide a living from the
wealth that Allah has given them. Allah does not burden someone
except (only) what Allah has given them. Allah will later provide
relief after hardship. Regarding its implications, living means an
obligation that must be carried out in the form of providing shopping
related to basic needs, both husbands to wives and fathers to
children or their families. I conclude that living is so important in the
study of Islamic law, even a wife who has been divorced by her
husband still has the right to receive living for herself and her
children. Apart from that, even though living is an obligation that
must be fulfilled, regarding the level of living, you must first look at
the limits of the provider's capabilities.
