Thisi research aims to discuss the understanding of Nusyuz in the Al Qur'an. Analysis of the study of the book Tafsir Ibnu Katsir. The problem releted to this research are: (1) Ibnu Katsir interpretation of the verses of the koran releted to Nusyuz. (2) the relevance of the understanding of Nusyuz in Tafsir Ibnu Katsir to the context of modern Muslim household life. This study uses a qualitative method. Primary data sources are taken from the book of Ibnu Katsir interprelation. Secondary data sources are taken from books, journals and other sources that discuss the understanding of Nusyuz in the Qur'an that are relevant to the research. Data were collected by reading several books releted to the understanding of Nusyuz in the Qur'an comprehensively and critically, observing and identifying dialogues or paragraphs, and classifying Islamic insights on the understanding of Nusyuz in the Qur'an. Analysis ot the book of interpretation of Imam Ibnu Katsir based on the criteria that have been determined. The result of this study show that Imam Ibnu Katsir interpretation of the surah An-Nisa verse 34 refers to Nusyuz yauru durbaka and arrogance, and disobeying one's husband, where as in surah An-Nisa verse 128, this means abandoning one's obligation, being rude, and being abusive towards one's wife

Abstrak:

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami konsep musyuz dalam Al-Qur'an. Sebuah analisis serhadap kitab Tafsir Ibn Katsir dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Isu-isu yang dikaji dalam penelitian adalah sebagaimana berikut: (1) Analisis Ibn Katsir terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang relevan dengan nusyuz. (2) Penerapan interpretasi Ibn Katsir tentang Nusyuz dalam konteks kehidupan rumah tangga Muslim kontemporer. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kitab tafsir Ibnu Katsir menjadi sumber informasi utama. Dengan mengkaji dan mengidentifikasi dialog atau paragraf, peneliti mengkategorikan wawasan Islam terkait pemahaman nusyuz dalam Al-Qur'an, dan menganalisis kitab tafsir Ibnu Katsir berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Sumber data sekunder berasal dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber lain yang membahas pemahaman nusyuz dalam Al-Qur'an secara komprehensif dan kritis. Berdasarkan hasil kajian, nusyuz, yang berarti ketidakpatuhan, kesombongan, dan tidak mengikuti pasangan, digimakan dalam tafsir Iman Ibnu Katsir terhadap Surat An-Nisa ayat 34. Sebaliknya, nusyuz digunakan dalam Surat An-Nisa ayat 128 yang berarti mengabaikan kewajiban, bersikap tidak sopan, dan tidak peduli terhadap istri.
